WHO IS LIFT?

LIFT Student Ministries is a vibrant youth program consisting of local 6th-12th graders. We are a place where students can connect, have fun, be safe, and learn together. We are full of energy, compassion, kindness, ridiculousness, love, and honesty. We know that life as a teenager can be hard and full of challenges, so we strive to not only learn what it means to follow Jesus, but help others do the same in a world that is broken because of sin.

WHY ARE WE CALLED LIFT?

We want to be a place that LIFTS God up and LIFTS each other up. The Great Commandment that Jesus gives in Mark 12 tells us to love God & love others. We want to be a place that does both well, striving to be described as the friendliest place in Westminster.

In Matthew 28 Jesus gives what is known as the Great Commission, which is where our mission and vision come from.

• Mission: Share the GOSPEL with every student in our Cause Turf.  (The Cause Turf consists of all the students in the schools represented by our student ministry.)

• Vision: Make disciples who make disciples.  (A simple definition of disciple is someone who believes in Jesus and follows Him with their life.)
